I did a google search for Makey family. That's how I found your site. I notice my branch of the tree is already listed in your book on page 91.
Blanche is listed at M982. She was born 13 July 1905 in Nebraska and died 2 July 1973 Santa Clara CA. Her only child Donald Richard Learned was born out of wedlock From Carl E Learned of Spokane WA. Donald was born 8 May 1927 Spokane WA.
He died 27 Oct. 1992 San Francisco CA. Noticed Learned was spelled wrong in the book, so just wanted to point that out. Thanks again and please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Jeff Learned in Canada.

Hi, I grew up in Idaho, though I now live in Redmond WA, as I understand it my family emigrated to Canada (from England) at some point, you may or may not have been contacted by my branch of Makey(s), they are based in Idaho Falls, Gary Makey my father and Lloyd Makey my Grandfather are still there. I don't know if our families are connected or not, my Grandad would be the one to contact as he's been trying to connect the family tree.

My husband's family emigrated to Canada and from Canada into Montana and Washington States. One of the ancesters was William Makey (actually appears that there were three generations of William Makeys)
Here is my father's genealogy that I know of.
Richard Lee Makey (me) James Allen Makey Sr. (father) Richard Lynn Makey (grand father) James Alfred Makey (great grand father)
Thank you, Richard Makey - USA
I have always been interested in my family tree and so has my father. We have been trying to track back our family but we can't seem to track any further than the 1820's can you help?
ADAM MAKEY - CANADA
Hi Adam, Thanks for making contact, where are you? What have you traced so far? I have a database of Makey's back to 1530 and many in Kent, USA, Canada, Australia etc. If you can send me some information on what you have so far, I am happy to search the database for you. I have many contacts with Makey's around the world. Kindest regards Alan
I am currently residing in port colborne, Ontario, Canada as is my father John Makey. I was talking to him and he said that you used to keep in contact with my grandmother years ago. Her name is Jean Makey she lived in hagersville Ontario. Unfortunately, she passed in 1999. The furthest my father could track back was to Edward Makey. It was a baptismal certificate from February 1824 in Ulceby, Lincolnshire, England. Thank you so much for the help if you would like some further information or have any questions feel free to email me back.
Sincerely, Adam Makey
Hi Adam, Many thanks for that, I remember corresponding with your Grandmother by post, no e-mail then. I regret I never got around to try and trace your roots in Ulceby. With so many Makey's scattered around the world you can imagine my dilemma in searching for them all. I would suggest you first try searching on 'FAMILY SEARCH' its FREE, if no luck then try Ancestry but of course that is a pay by subscription site. Usually, Family Search finds most of them, compiled by the Mormons in Salt Lake City. If ever I have a spare moment, I will go searching for you. Keep in touch.
